Aluminum Blinds: Mini-Blinds

Aluminum blinds, also known as mini-blinds, macro-blinds, or micro-blinds, are common and inexpensive. They offer the most affordable type of window treatment available. This is a main reason they are so common. They are made from curved aluminum slats sold in 1/2" and 1" sizes.

The horizontal slats are controlled by a cord. The cord is pulled to open or close the slats to let in more or less light. This offers moderate control of light. When tilted upright, the narrow, thin slats allow minimal light to come through. They can be completely raised or lowered to allow full visibility or complete privacy.

Aluminum blinds come in many different colors. Although they fit standard window sizes, they can be
customized to fit any size window. Aluminum blinds are a cost-effective, simple window treatment.
